Futanari are futanari because they have vaginas. If there is no vagina that makes it a newhalf. Also futanari are usually considered female while newhalf are usually considered male. Calling a newhalf a futanari is a Western misnomer.

I also found that a lot of people who like futa don't like newhalf because they don't have vaginas and vice-versa. Newhalf isn't really a sub category to futa because futas are girls who grew penises from above their vaginas while newhalf used to be boys. Their fanbases don't tend to like one if they like the other.

Yeah, the common perception is that futas are for straight guys and gay girls while newhalf are for gay guys and straight girls. But I say whatever, if you like it then like it. Your sexuality is whatever you say it is because only you know what you really feel.

No, you are all wrong. Newhalf is a transgender woman and is a woman. A common error that really pisses people off is to call a woman a man. Futanari is any female figure that has a penis, vagina is not a requirement.

It is the west that created that misnomer but in Japanese (where futanari originated) you have to have a vagina to be a futanari.

It is the west that created that misnomer but in Japanese (where futanari originated) you have to have a vagina to be a futanari.
