The Plautena fan in me appreciates the crossover.
The Wipeout fan in me would like to remind everyone Icarus were a bunch of in-universe scrubs who failed to finish a race in their first two seasons, folded completely for the F-8000 series, and are only just now becoming competitive in the FX-350 and Fury Prototype series. That's over a century of mediocrity.
