I LOVED that scene.

The anime seemed to handle it correctly, very similar if not exact to the manga, but the "buildup" before it was far, far better in the manga, what with how the ass had been introduced far earlier, and you had a chance to grow your hatred for him to a much greater level. Made his ass-getting-kicked scene that much more...satisfying.

Honestly, I preferred the Manga's scene MUCH MORE than the anime one; that blood and gore as she punched the bastard's face in in the curb-stompingply amazing way.... man, what a release of endorphins...
