-Luigi is the only character to be unlockable in every game except in Smash 4
-Ness is the only character that didn't need to be unlocked in Melee but in every other game
-Captain Falcon is the only character that alternated in each game from being unlockable to default
-And finally, Jigglypuff is the only character in every game that needed to be unlocked
