Ash was questioned after witnesses reported that he was the last seen with Millefeui dancing with her the night before... found with a Blood covered Poke ball with a lightning bolt on it in his backpack... believed to have been used to bludgeon someone.... He was then arrested and later charged and sentenced to 20 years.. only for the dead girl's family to hire some "assistance" After 2 weeks he was found in the corner of his cell strangled to death by his own bedsheet.

It's an edit. The most the anime ever had, as far as kissing goes, was someone kissing Ash on the cheek, and that was only three times - twice in the movies, and once in the anime.

Of course it is an edit. Even if they ever moved the show along by building strong romantic relationship they would NEVER leave a trail of saliva between the two on a kids show. That would just be crazy!
