I never really liked the fact that Kurono never even tried to bring Sei back even though it's possible and clearly an option. She did it with him and liked him even though he an unrequited crush on Kishimoto, she was bit of a decent fighter and died protecting him. Maybe he entertained the idea or notion of bringing her back but he clearly didn't have enough of a reason to unlike when he did with Nishi and Tae. It's not like she wanted to die either. Gantz, I love you but you drive me crazy sometimes.

At least they established Reincarnation was a thing, so Sei, Kishimoto, Kurono 2 and Reika will all return eventually.
