These characters are boring simply because they are aimed to appeal to manchildren with low self esteem and lack of any kind of skill, be it social or productive. The MG´s only prerequisite to "fall in love" is for their partner to have a penis. Kind of a waste.

I can't help but point out that relaxing all the muscles in a persons body is going to make them shit themselves. Not exactly the best start to a, theoretically, intimate partnership.
