I don't think there is any amputation in this picture, the legs might just not be drawn to show the background stuff and the guy on the left.

There's a tourniquet on her left (viewer's right) arm. A tourniquet is something that stops blood flow to a limb, supposed to be used to stop bleeding. Often leads to a necessary amputation if left on top long.
