Now that I get a look at her threads, I am actually pretty impressed; she fits right in to Arc-Vs aesthetic without veering so far off that I immediately notice. I assume Kite will be unchanged, is no need.

DID she have any romantic attachment to Judai? I recall that petering out almost as soon as it was contemplated. As of the last arc they were just tight friends.

No, she definitely did. It becomes more obvious during the third season where she becomes more jealous of his interactions with Blair and more worried after the duel with Scarr. Also, before the tag tournament she commented on how much she liked his smile; that's not something you say to someone you don't have some feelings for. It's the same thing Yusei said to Aki and Kotori said to Yuma in the final episode.
