The one that got deleted was uploaded 2016-07-07 06:28:43
And this one was uploaded 2016-07-09 20:30:39
So why is it this one stayed despite coming after the one that got deleted? I can only guess because of site bias because Danbooru uploaded this one.

This one is the actual original file that the artist posted on Pixiv (verified by matching the MD5's); the other one has been resaved as a JPEG. I don't really see any compression artifacts in the other version, but it has been resaved as a JPEG. Why settle for "well, I don't really see any JPEG compression artifacts..." when we could have "I know for a fact that this version has the fewest compression artifacts of any version that exists"?
