Also Gelbooru users are not the target audience for *any* anime. All target audiences are Japanese, and Japan loves a lot of things that Western audiences don't. Rampant, brainless fanservice is one of those things. We're not driving the market on this type of show at all. Japanese creators are not looking at Westerners and saying, "Gosh, people whose preferences hardly impact our revenues don't like this particular trope, so let's stop using it!" They're catering to their intended audience. We are not their intended audience.
