Its apparently part of the plot of the show, he does lewd things with the girls and they transform.
Getting pretty sad that this is the main selling point of anime lately

The don't transform, they power up quicker when he does his eros energy boost on them. That way they get back into the battle at full power in minutes instead of days. At least that's the way I see this fanservice anime.

I see, I was wondering that in the other gifs i've seen of this.
I dont know, im not big on fanservice, but arent these types of shows the reason why nerds are treated as perverts? Like you cant recommend most shows you like without being blasted with tits, ass or just over the top fanservice just to drive the plot

Fanservice IMO is best when it's more subtle or at least not the point of the show. Some do it pretty well, Seikon No Qwaser, High School DxD and To Love-Ru for example which at least I've enjoyed but they also have fun characters, fight scenes etc.
