This drawing seems to have its source in a manga by Tezuka but I've no idea which. Other pictures by Dr Comet portray this mare with a scarred man whose sole garment is a big white headband or with a boy. So I think of ancient Japan: could it be Dororo? I'm stalled (pun intended).
