The downside is she didn't get Ash, but the good news is she DIDN'T get Ash. An oblivious idiot who constantly loses Pokemon Leagues? Serena could do A LOT better. Besides, she has a promising career as a Pokemon Performer in her near future. She doesn't need someone like Ash tying her down anymore. Serena will no doubt grow and develop into a wonderful idol, but Ash will always be the same derpy idiot he has been since Gen 1.
