i doubt gen 4 or 5 will bet remakes. Iwata said that they would only remake games if they weren't playable on the current handheld, that's why gen 3 got remade, moving from from the DS to the 3DS they lost the ability to play GBA games.
gen 4 and 5 are DS games and still perfectly playable on the 3DS.

i doubt gen 4 or 5 will bet remakes. Iwata said that they would only remake games if they weren't playable on the current handheld, that's why gen 3 got remade, moving from from the DS to the 3DS they lost the ability to play GBA games.

O.O I know it's next in line, but I'm not sure I'm personally ready for a Diamond and Pearl Remake not while the original is still perfectly playable on the current system o.o I mean Gen 1 needed a remake and Gen 2 needed a remake because they were no longer relevant in terms of compatibility Gen 3 got one purely because of Fan demand but RSE did have some issues with their battery life pop up which limited some of the experience the games have to offer. However Diamond and Pearl were in a lot of ways a rehash of Ruby and Sapphire in terms of story and flow and I didn't care for those two as much... (that said I LOVED Platinum) but I do think it's a little too soon for a Diamond and Pearl Remake.

Honestly I would like to see another remake of Gen 1 before I see one of Gen 4, just so we can have an enhanced version of all the original Pokemon games playable on the 3DS
maybe throw in the Partner Pokemon from HGSS into the mix again
