That dragon radar. Without it, how many people and planets would be gone? In a selfish act to merely secure a boyfriend she inadvertently saved countless lives by inventing the most useful thing ever. Also created a time machine. Not sure if she made the heart medicine for Goku but it was essentially her idea and also future Trunks.

So yeah, she pretty much is doing Kami's work. Nimbus, you can go and suck it you judgemental overgrown cotton ball.

if you went with GT's story though, the black star dragonballs and the evil dragons were brought upon by overusing the dragonballs, which came from using that simple device. They were supposed to take 100 years to dispel the negative energy built up from using the balls, but they were used 8 times (in canon series, two of those times being after Shenron was given the ability to make two wishes) within that 100 year time frame (though it was never stated how long they were used before the underwear wish).

Granted, Super has all but retconned GT, but again, going by GT's story, that radar inadvertently became the WORST invention made by human hands, even worse than Gero's androids and Cell.

Of the main and supporting cast of DBZ Bulma is pretty much the least powerful fighter (unless it's funny for her to slap someone around), but without her everything would've gone to shit before Raditz had even shown up. So kamispeed, you beautiful woman.

Without Bulma the Red Ribbon Army would have taken over the world. Then Raditz would have shown up looking for Goku, saw that he had taken over the world and probably would have wiped out the red ribbon army and be seen as a hero. Goku would be crazy guy living in the wild by himself unless he ventures out on his own. Either way, he'd eventually die of his heart disease.

Freiza would probably take over the universe. Cell and the androids would never exist. Buu would never awaken. So the world would be ruled by Frieza's people and the earth enslaved. It's possible that the the Red Ribbon army would survive and create powerful enough androids. So maybe a different form of Cell would be created using the DNA of Freiza and maybe raditz nappa and vegeta. Cell would maybe absorb the androids and destroy freiza and his men...maybe.

but we can't forget Capsule Corp. They'd be more the able to create cyborgs more powerful than the Red Ribbon army. So maybe they'd be able to stop the army in the first place. Perhaps even stop Raditz.

Either way, the universe would be worse off without Bulma and Goku would be dead by the time he's an adult.
