The irony is that by censoring content to push public morals, artists have had to make their works even more obscene and hardcore in order to compensate for lack of explicit detail. This more extreme content and darker fetishes, only leading to an even sharper decline in people?s standards. Censorship will only lead to people shooting themselves in the foot. That?s why hentai is more twisted than other forms of media. Not that I?m complaining, I just think it?s ironic that censoring content only lead to the art form becoming even more depraved.
