In all seriousness, I've never seen why Hector sees so much praise to the point of being vastly overrated. He's a cool character, but I don't feel he has as much depth as Eliwood or even Lyndis as a character. He doesn't seem as interesting. I've also never seen him as an invincible god, or some top-tier unit or lord. As good as he is, I've always preferred and relied on the other two lords over him as units, especially on higher difficulties.

I'm glad people are starting to like Roy more with all of his recent appearances. It's so satisfying seeing Elibe's greatest hero put Hector in his place. I really hope that someday, Eliwood starts picking up in popularity as much as Roy, Lyndis, and Hector, because I believe he deserves it. Seeing characters like Chrom and Corrin really makes me wish they'd write characters like him again.

Roy cant be Lyns kid because then Sue would be his sister. Also Hector is loved because he's one of the few non sword lords. Plus he's basically Ike before Ike (though very under flushed out).
