Hmm. One wonders if perhaps the female Yorha were (or would be) fitted with artificial wombs intended to incubate new humans. It'd certainly cut down on the time needed for human repopulation after they wipe out the machines.

Supplemental material says that while there are only male and female YorHa models, which lack genitals by default, they're intelligent enough to learn to create and use realistic human reproductive organs, and mimic pregnancy.
So, YorHa units can have and enjoy sex if they want to, but being androids, can't actually reproduce.
