I don't know how people can still be finding new/better quality art for this 14 year old OVA, but god damn if it isn't appreciated. More Kirika gives my rod the power of a thousand suns!

I've been waiting for Kaneko to grace us with another giant oppai anime. It would be cool if he went back and gave Eiken maybe a nice 12 episode anime. Doesn't even have to be the entire series, just do key points throughout the anime. Space out each plot point and you could see a progression of Chiharu's bust each episode, he loves that breast expansion.

He could even have in uncensored since the creator even made a uncensored version.

....just a thought.

^ Well we won't get pussy in the anime but certainly they could finally unleash the girl's nipples, Eiken getting a modern rebirth is something I've wished for for years now. We know Kaneko worked on the OVAs in some capacity, and since then he has become the Godfather of Bakunyuu; creating Cattleya and working on Queen's Blade, Seikon no Qwaser, Manyuu Hikenchou, Kagaku na Yatsura, Maken-Ki Two, Valkyrie Drive, and 2 amazing Hentai...

Having him work on an anime adaptation of Eiken would be a dream come true, but he has been silent on new directing roles since Valkyrie Drive, and Studio Hoods hasn't touched ecchi in years and probably won't again considering their recent success with more profitable shows like Blazblue and Driftors.

These are dark times we live in lads, haven't felt this way since the late 2000s, right before Seikon blew our balls off. Here's hoping Eiken has a future.

Eiken would have a lot of trouble making a comeback like that without altering its cast- specifically Komoe. Age is a factor people care about very much for entirely understandable reasons, and an eleven year-old sixth grader not only sporting the largest bust of the cast but also getting exposed would inevitably get the series in water so hot that it would likely die on contact.

Nice to see some love for this series. Its too bad the manga never got adapted properly, its ecchi but hilarious, insane, and weird, especially Kirika, theres no other character like her. Unfortunately the majority of anime viewers panned this series, because most people have an instinct to put their fists up when they see an ecchi comedy for some reason, even if its done well for what it is. When Iw was in my early teens in the early 2000s, either this or Witchblade were the first things I loved from Hiraku Kaneko, but I didnt know about him by name until Cattleya. In retrospect he's always been the king of bakunyuu animation, even in his early days. People can be disgusted by Komoe the oppai loli (the first of her kind?) but I never saw her sexually, I always assumed her design was meant to be comedic.
