It's the recently landed Kako-san and her sister, restoring their spirits for the first time in a while. Having met up in front of Hiroshima Station with Furutaka-san who had previously said, "I really want to eat okonomiyaki~", Kako-san diligently kept as much in mind and brought her here.
Within the roots of Hiroshima okonomiyaki, "Micchan Souhonten" is the king. Having opened for business 67 years prior, this shop's style had a massive effect on the simple issen youshoku* shops which were commonplace back then, and tied together the course of events that would lead to today's okonomiyaki. an ancestor of okonomiyaki
75 years ago today, Heavy Cruiser Kako sank in the open sea to the east of New Ireland's Kavieng Harbour.
