Tilt it a little more upward. The way you're pointing, you'll maybe only get the corpus collusum, and perhaps miss your cerebrum and spinal cord. That'll leave you alive, but an uncoordinated mess, since a blown corpus collusum means the two sides of your brain can't coordinate anymore. Shooting yourself in the mouth is an unreliable way to go. There's just too many ways it can botch up, leaving you a living vegetable.

Apparantly... through the mouth if more reliable than a shot to the temple...
More people seem to survive temple shots. The bullet tends to have a problem penetrating fully.
I'm no doctor or scientist though.

I'd agree with Shotgun mouthwash.
Gun to mouth is mainly done to completely bypass the skull, which can deflect or ricochet low caliber bullets depending on angle of shot and other factors.
Temple shooting is just as risky, as a stray flinch can miss the temples and hit the optic nerves giving you possible blindness. Most other methods have the skull to factor in.

I'd agree with Shotgun mouthwash.
Gun to mouth is mainly done to completely bypass the skull, which can deflect or ricochet low caliber bullets depending on angle of shot and other factors.
Temple shooting is just as risky, as a stray flinch can miss the temples and hit the optic nerves giving you possible blindness. Most other methods have the skull to factor in.

Standard 9x19 Parabellum or .40 S&W or .357 S&W Magnum will make short work of a human skull, temple area or not. You can go for overkill/exploded skull and use hollow point bullets, which will shred your head.
Don't forget, bullets kill by ballistic/hydrostatic shock too, not only by destroying flesh in their path.
