Probably a Tanuki kunoichi from the forest villages of Zipang area, capable of transforming objects,steals stuff and of course sneaks around to find mates =). like ninjas uses her tools to trek walls/trees or maybe they act like bandits in waiting for travelers/merchants in the forests, steal their goods secretly, and if there's a male that they like they steal them too and bring them to their secret village.
