It was a mystery/slice-of-life game that was so popular that it became an anime and manga series and it is pretty well known just quietly.

The problem is not the series, but what this particular picture parodies... and i'm 90% sure it's parodying Tsukihime, i remember a pic where Arc has the same pose as Rena, and Kohaku&Hisui just like the twins here... if only i could retrieve it...
