I think the purpose of this was to portray Celestine as a more down-to-earth High Elf, as opposed to an anime Elf.

Hence the lack of the black belt, if we're going for more realism

Still retains her legendary rack.

Overall, it's excellent picture

I'm going to agree with the second comment. It's nice to see a characted depicted with distinguished but still vibrant and youthful features rather than going fully mashmallow anime face. It does a lot to give the illustration more character.
