So what's the story behind this? Why is Katyusha so sad? Is she in the middle of doing some late night planning for a sensha-do match and is panicking because she can't figure out a way to win? Is she reliving a previous humiliating loss, trying to see where she went wrong and broke down?
Or, is she feeling isolated and alone because Nonna isn't with her anymore, for one reason or another, and she doesn't have Nonna's comforting presence to sooth her?
Whatever it is, all I know is that this loli needs a hug and some love, and in dire need of it too. But of course, such is life in the zone.

Neither. I'm talking about THE Zone, as in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
The radioactive wastes of Chernobyl, the deadly and mysterious ranges of Pripyat or the decrepit and decaying town of Harmont are all the same place, ultimately.

Effectively. I'm baked, so I have no idea if I'm making sense, but given the Zone is typically a harsh unforgiving place even after it accepts it and can never let you go, I guess that applies here in some way.
Check out the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. The phrase, "Such is life in the Zone" comes from there. Good games.
Or read Roadside Picnic, the book that inspired the games. I don't mind, I'm just going to eat seeds now.
