unless the 'squirt' is as strong as the sniper rifle then no; inklings have a moderate resistance to other colored ink.
given that it requires between 5-10 shots from a pistol to "splat" an enemy inkling, we can assume that if they wanted to go a round or two, they could feasibly go all day, granted recovery times
