They are the same voice actress. Stephanie Sheh voices both orihime and hinata in the dubs of the respective shows.

They have a lot of similarities to the point of some referring to Shippuden Hinata to be practically a ripoff of Orihime (since Orihime came well before shippuden hinata) But the character archetype they both are has been around for longer and has been used quite a bit since.

Innocent, kind, gentle, Naive, low self-esteem, madly in love with the main character but too shy to confess. large breasts for their large, fragile hearts. Both suffered in their backstory, etc.
