Idk, maybe it's a "me" problem, but I take issue fapping to characters who are exclusively included within a narrative to be "generic, helpless moe-blob #146416". It just feels so artificial, you know? Like the sole reason the character exists is due to a strategic corporate decision to get as many men/ lesbos on board as possible so they can effectively exploit them financially via the sales of bluerays, manga, dakimakura, and various other merch.

Cardcaptor Sakura was meant to appeal to girls by presenting a strong yet vulnerable female protagonist who little girls could simultaneously relate with and look up to. This made her feel "real" and "tangible" as a three dimensional character. Something about the fact that the creators (probably) never intended Sakura to be masturbated to by millions of lolicons makes her all the more irresistible, at least to me personally /)^3^(\
