I actually really liked this design and behavior of Gohan. It felt like a very natural progression to his character. Shame he was so much weaker overall at that point, and the Saiyaman thing was just... tacky... but in some ways, I like this version more than "Mystic" Gohan. That one felt rushed, and uninspired. To me, anyway. This one was charming and warm, and all it would have needed is that ability to switch over and be a little more like his old self when angry. Some focus.
