who is this girl and what importance does she have? ( I've not seen a single episode of boruto: Naruto next generations one because after the crap that happened leading up to the end of Naruto I kind of lost interest watching it two some of things that I hated leading up to the ending are part of the show plus some things just don't make sense and three boruto is basically an oc become canon in a anime.)

For starters, Kishimoto isn't even helping with the writing of Boruto so you're right about it seeming as though it's just a bunch of OC's becoming canon. All Kishimoto did was help with some of the character designs and then he left the rest of the production up to the current writers. He was planning on just leaving the Naruto series off when Sasuke left the village to atone and let the imaginations of his audience run wild. So to me Boruto is just a cashgrab that the current writers just want to milk for money. I thouroughly enjoyed Naruto but can't even begin to watch Boruto because it just doesn't feel the same.

TLDR she fights Shikamaru's kid in the Chunin Exams and has wind based attacks using her hair to make a Sonic Boom (Her hair is fairly long and hidden in her hood).
