History is accelerated in the Youjo Senki setting thanks to Tanya making the not-germans win WW1 and crush the not-French. (Though the Empire fails to neutralize them, trusting in logic and reason to dictate a cease of hostilities. Big mistake.)

It's not so much accelerated as combining the two. The trenches of the Rhine are right out of WW1 as is the action in Dacia but the Norden front and most things after the fall of the Republic is WW2. But even then the position of Ildoa well the Eastern front is active is much closer to their WW1 position.
