I HIGHLY doubt this’ll be the last Smash. I can see it being stressful, each game is highly anticipated and people are desperate for information. Not to mention the increasingly massive rosters and contentious, self-dueling fanbase. That said: the games only come out once every console generation so it’s not like they’re trying to meet yearly deadlines.

If anything it might at least be Sakurais final smash he directs for real this time if hes gonna pull this off. Guys getting up in years and the physical health tolls hes taken and has happened to him show more and more each direct.
