I miss it too. Characters in Xenoblade 1 were so much better written than the ones in Xenoblade 2...

The first few hours of xenoblade is nothing short of amazing and one massive punch in the gut that drives you to continue.

So its safe to say this DLC takes Shulk and Fiora from the very beginning of XC1 seeing as how she has long hair before..... Ah heck Sakurai already gave away the spoiler by adding Mecha-Fiora in Shulk's final smash, and Shulk having the Monado in it's base form.
