Superman is not bad. he's just plain bland. he's pretty much the textbook superhero who wears his underwear outside of his suit for some reason. he's only memorable because of how much he's
been advertised. DC has spent a stupid amount of money to keep him around. if superman was made by some obscure comic book artist he would've been forgotten a long time ago.

It’s not the good stories, good films, good shows, good books and other great content he’s been in. It’s not just the fact that he made superheroes popular or established many of the tropes, story elements and powers found in other works, including fucking All-Might. No... he’s just marketed a lot and has nothing else going for him. Fucking weebs.

I can tell most of the people here saying shit about Superman haven’t really picked up a comic about him or with him. The character has been around for more than 80 years. It’s not the good stories, good films, good shows, good books and other great content he’s been in. It’s not just the fact that he made superheroes popular or established many of the tropes, story elements and powers found in other works, including fucking All-Might. No... he’s just marketed a lot and has nothing else going for him. Fucking weebs.

I really don't like how superman is portrayed by recent media. Like angst don't suit him at all, which is why his role in the dceu was craptastic at best. One of the best portrayal is the animated series version of superman where he is WAY more likeable and more confident in his abilities. For god sakes, at least he smiles in that show than any scenes with the dceu ever had!!!

He's more of a person in the comics than he is than in movies for whatever reason. He grew up in Kansas or something like that, out in the country. I'm a week like many others here. Got to realize, DC is the same way when it comes to us with Manga and anime. Comics are better than movies. His movies are dumb and don't make much sense. He's more of a person in the comics than he is than in movies for whatever reason. He grew up in Kansas or something like that, out in the country. The fastest way to tell if a person who has read superman comics from a person who hasn't is by their arguments against him. "Hurrr he's sooooooo boring huuuuurrrr" fuckin hell. He's basically Deku, he's just a dude with a good moral compass and super powers. He is probably the only DC hero who doesn't have some absurd melodrama playing out for 60+ issues on the regular. That's why the movies are always so garbage, they try to make him some fucking hyper emotional fag with daddy issues when he's probably the ONLY member of the DC hero lineup who's a well adjusted adult. The reason why he's "boring" is because he's an honest to god dude trying to do the right thing, rather than some depressed shut-in who lives in his basement and uses his families fortune to take out his aggression on criminals, rather than creating opportunities to prevent people from pursuing a life of crime to begin with...
The CLOSEST thing to a proper portrayal of Super Man in cinema in all his time in existence was that ONE scene during the credits of Justice League, where he races the Flash. Clark being sportingly curious about which of the two is faster, joking with him about kicking him off the team and generally being a normal dude and a good friend as close to the comics as we've ever gotten. The fuckin animated series didnt even get it completely right, making him a kinda paranoid dick-head at times.
In fact, he's a lot like Saitama except he isn't painfully bored by everything by default.
