I've always found the relation between Naruto and Sakura
Kinda poetic in a way. I mean , he did everything everyone said he couldn't and also loved being around Sakura and the rest of his comrades..
Maybe that's why they had shown an alternate timeline where everybody loved
Him.. this artist displays Naruto's affection for her well ,
Look at Sakura's reaction of him wanting to kiss her..
Maybe Sakura kept lying to herself about her feelings towards sasuke-
Sort of like an empty crush when you have nothing in common. I could go on.

Naruto x Sakura makes more sense than Naruto x Hinata. Unlike the latter, Naruto and Sakura did have some development together since Naruto did like Sakura from the start.

But now, instead Hinata hijacked the whole train and all of a sudden Naruto like Hinata? They had like, 1 and a half arcs worth of very very generic one sided development. It was too shoehorned for my taste.

But they look adorable together so i won't complain. :P

Well sakura and naruto were together on the same team from the beginning so they've had a lot of time to bond and get to know each other. Hinata's just kind of a trophy wife.
