I'm so proud of Nintendo to let the Belmont's to Smash. Now bring in Captain N & we got the main cast reunion. <3

The reaction to Luigi's fate was bizarre. Not only was it just his soul being out of his body, but the end of the trailer made it very clear that he reunited with his body after the Belmont's dealt with the Castle's Monsters, Death and Dracula.
In comparison, Mario's head got crushed by Ridley (a reference to the manga btw), a noticeable crunching sound is heard, and you never see Mario again. They make no illusion that he survived the encounter, and he never appears in the trailer again. People made a big deal about that too, but not enough where NintendoUKVS had to come out and say that "no, he's actually okay". Luigi being "okay" was self evident in the SAME TRAILER unlike Mario and Megaman who completely disappeared without a trace.
So what made this different? Is it just because it's Luigi and he showed more fear? Because it befuddles me.

I'm starting to wonder if Nintendo should of save the announcement of Castlevania coming to Super Smash Bros. for October to go along with Halloween. I hope Nintendo announce something nice for SSB & the month of Halloween, like new Castlevania (there are some Gameboy Castlevania Games that were yet to join the Virtual Console) & Luigi's Mansion for the 3DS.
