After Snake didn't appear in Smash 4 it was somewhat safe to assume that Mega Man, Pac-Man, Cloud, and/or Bayonetta wouldn't return (Sonic is a bit of an exception since they still make the Olympic crossover games).


Then the E3 announcement kicked "it's just a port" right in the balls repeatedly. Heck, there may be even more surprises.
