I'm getting really sick and tired of people making the source a link to a page of nothing but the pic and not the page the pic was posted on, as in a page on the artists site or account.

Like it only takes us to the right click view image page.

This is a Danbooru import; nobody on Gelbooru added this source. Additionally, nobody on Danbooru will have heard your complaint, so perhaps you should take it up with them.
