I have a love / hate relationship with this manga...

Love: All of Mashima's works i adore, especially his art style.

Hate: Why the F*ck did he reuse so many assets from Fairy Tail? I MEAN COME ON!? He didn't even try to hide the reference to Erza... Red hair, Equipment Alteration, and one good / real eye...

Hey guys, Mashima has reused Jellal's and happy's design a couple times. (Heck, I think he got the idea of talking cats from Monster Hunter) (Even made a Monster Hunter Manga) and has also made sure that Plue Canonically exists in all universes he has created.

Also Mashima suffers from a condition I call "every man and woman unless insignificant to the story, will look the same... syndrome..." or EMAWUITTSWLTSS... for short... I work on the name...

Mashima hasn't made any thing legininately new in decades. If you LIKE his work (it's all trash but you're allowed to have shit taste) then you like ALL of his work, because it's all the same. If he DIDNT reuse everything, it wouldn't be Mashima.

He's the Todd Howard of mangaka.
