Too late. 22 years late, but at least Cloud is finally where he was originally intended to be, a Nintendo console(FF VII, IX, X/X-2 and XII are coming to the Switch next year).

^um, no offense, but Nintendo wasn't the intended place for cloud to be. Besides FF VII and some others has been in other platforms so the switch is no different from others.

It's mostly due to Nintendo's dumb idea of keeping cartridges instead of discs to prevent piracy (which didn't work) and alienated other software companies, squaresoft included and thus jumped to other platforms. Sadly this is felt throughout the years which peaked with the Wii U's failure and despite the switch being a huge breath of fresh air, some of the same stubbornness is still present with the garbage internet service they provided.

^That has been their only flop so far, I mean the Switch is already close to outselling PS4 in Japan despite being only a year and a half old. Anyway, this is a cool render, looks miles better than Smash 4's.
