Not true. He posted this on twitter on the 23rd September, the original Bowsette comic was made on the 19th of the same month.

There is an uncolored version of this image on danbooru that was posted 9 months ago. So yeah, he made bowsette before the hype.

Not actually bowsette, this is from a short uncolored comic 8 months ago that is actually about peach being a slave as bowser. Look super similar though
