At first I thought it’d be hard to get into a character that’s main motivations consist of pining for the pale pretty boy emo that’s pretty much sought after by every girl, your soured relationship with a friend over that same guy you’ve barely spoken to and the occasional crapping on the protagonist for being an annoying lonely, loser with no parents, but after a while she really grows on you. Maybe one of Gary Oak’s cheerleading fangirls isn’t as shallow and useless as a life preserver in a kiddy pool if she’d only been given time to develop her superficial crush on the bad boy rival-kun into actual feelings. Really though, such an appealing character with cotton candy coloured hair but definitely has more substance and value than cotton candy.
