It seems inevitable that every jerk in this series eventually ends up mellowing out and softening up in one way or another. Piccolo is like a father figure, Vegeta became a family man. At least uncle Raditz is still a pineapple headed dick, he's dead and won't be brought and nothing will change that. If he did come back, he'd probably end just like uncle Jesse from Full House.
