I really like Poison’s retro vibe. The skimpy outfit, the rock and roll aesthetic, the big voluminous hair with a bright neon colour and even her name. Poison rocks the fucking 80s. And yes I said “her” name because even if she is a transvestite, she dresses like and self-identifies as a woman and if she isn’t packing something down under than she would just be a plain ol’ woman so there.

I can't think Poison since the beginning was a man. I actually think they changed the gender of the character not to scandalize women, who thought the game taught to beat women. Is it strange that by changing this one can understand that you can beat transvestites? I think in the beginning, SHE always were a woman.

Hi I am the one who found this and posted it here! The reason because the artist is no longer interested to continue great work like this by deleting his own account and wiping out his old gallery from his Tumblr now just leaving us his sfw art there. He does have a Twitter but I couldn't find the same content he had put up on this old Tumblr. It's a real shame for what the future came to this guy and I was glad to see his other works uploaded here by others now that his old gallery is gone and some of his works removed could be hard to find or no longer seen again. They must be preserved and saved so they won't go extinct!

Thanks everyone for uploading his other works here. I really appreciate it. :D

I don't know what the artist has done on other places, but Tumblr banned all porn last year, forcing everybody who wants to use it to only use it for sfw.

Wow I didn't know that! Sounds like Tumb-dumb wants to turn the fkng place into a family friendly children's playground to keep it too family friendly I guess lol. Least Twitter still accepts hentai but I hardly go there than I used to.

About the artist, he wanted to quit for a change from his hentai art and we don't know what his future may become of him after all the amazing and impressive Patreon commission work he made over the years.

I just wish we have more great artists like him to continue sharing nice artwork like this. :(

Tumblr is pretty much dead, it was failing after being bought by Yahoo, the porn ban was the last crack and it now got sold for a fraction of its original price.

All the artist that used Tumbr fled last year, it was all over the media, it was an artist exodus, some fled to Newgrounds, most to Puxiv, some use Twitter but its risky because Twitter does ban for porn as well, so a lot of artists avoid posting their adult works on it. I suggest Pixiv, personaly, as long as you don't post uncensored on the main page, you'll be fine. Most artists are there.

I speculate Poison was replaced by a man in the games because Nintendo at the time in the 90's, were very sensitive about what kinds of content are in games back then so they would keep most of their games if not all as clean and safe for everyone to play. They wanted to make Super Nintendo (which was a famous console at the time, competing with Sega Genesis) a family friendly console so that more people (as well as younger gamers) could buy it without worrying too much about the ratings.

However, video games didn't have any ratings until early 90's after Mortal Kombat was released (one of the most gore games at the time), making several game companies realized that the gaming industry is evolving and no longer a safe place as it was in the 80's, when 16-bit arrived and changed the look of gaming by storm, everything went graphic but least on Genesis games since Sega had different policy over Nintendo's when Streets Of Rage for example were okay with female fighters in the game.

However, there is a exception with having a female fighter in Final Fight as it was exclusive to Nintendo consoles at the time, FF2 had a playable female character, they only changed her story before release for some reason when she was originally a bike gang member in the Japan version. I am not sure if any of the female enemies do appear on FF3, there is a playable police woman there and not replaced thankfully lol :D
