I get that it’s a joke but the point of it is the hunt for him. If he simply wanted an easy meal he could’ve spent some of the money he has on food for himself instead of bird feed as bait or all his contraptions, explosives, etc. It’s a personal obsession to him and if he got someone else to do it for him than it sort of spoils it. Also he could’ve given up and hunted something fatter and slower.

It’s like instead of beating Dark Souls yourself, you got someone else to do it for you.

Now, let’s see if we can’t get Elmer Fudd asking Batman for help in outthinking Bugs Bunny.
