Alex deserved to be in a better show than 0080. Be nice if they remade the first Gundam series and retconned him in somewhere.

Well, it was designed as an upgrade of the RX-78-2, and built with Amuro in mind(Chris was just the test pilot), so it'd probably show up in the last half/third of the original show.
