Gamefreak hit him from the start with Misty and Brock...
Some would say he sucked because he's not Dragon Type...
Crowds saw how Ash was held back whenever he took a snore...

Generation 4 hit him harder with the dawn of Stealth Rock...
Players cried out "Over-rated Fire Lizard's not worth the hype!"
Power creep came along and brought Charizard to the floor...

But as he stood firm and pissed off he spat "You're full of crock!
Your words can't stop me I'll be back and then you'll see me snipe!
Champions Old and New stand with me and soon will many more!"

So then new power would appear Mega Evolution he would unlock.
Mega Y And Mega X earned respect and spite and smirks he'd wipe.
Drought's light blazed, Tough Claws raised, Reborn in smash and more.

Soon we walk to Galar and to find Pokemon but half the stock.
Many friends stay behind until next games and many fans gripe
Yet new adventures and challenges await like we've never seen before

My Underdog's been with me since Gen 3 and our bond is not to mock
We've heard it before and we'll hear it again but it's victory we'll swipe
Mega may be gone but I don't care, we'll see what Godzilla-zard has in store

The national dex cut may have been quite a shock...
And it's lead to alot of anger harrassment and tripe
But all things change with time, at least it won't be a bore.

Sword and Shield is out in 9 days so set your clock
