Kind of makes me wonder, if Mai was dressed modestly instead of scantly would she have made it in or be seen as too "obscene" because of her large breasts. Blue Mary made it in as a cameo.

Mai doesn't need to Smash, but who knows... Maybe there be a Modded Game with Mai someday. I heard some people are making a Modded Super Smash Bros for N64. <3

Modestly-dressed Mai would have been against the main gimmick of the character, even if said depictions do exist in canon. It'd be like adding Boo Luigi instead of regular Luigi.
