Well from all the people complaining that they want more of Saitama showing up and fighting the bad guy instead of all these other pointless side characters, you kinda get the impression that people just want another Goku on their hands so frankly I’m not surprised it’s come to this.

I think many people want Saitama to do more is because they want more villians like Boros with epic battle scenes. I think they like seeing Saitama fight but not because they want him to struggle. IMO its the sight of the over confident enemies as they get knocked down a peg. Like when he fought Suiyru.
